چکیده
The article presents the methods of recovery alveolo-dental gaps in patients with clefts. Grafts from iliac crest, symphysis and mandible branch were collected. Following research results, bone grafting provides a support for remodeling dental arch an intact periodontium cleft area. At same time, it enough implantation. According to clinical radiological assessments, no significant differences recorded between these 3 graft materials. Importance is given receiving area as well volume defect.

Background: Current evidence on factors influencing the outcome of Secondary Alveolar Bone Grafting (SABG) in cleft lip/palate patients is ambiguous and further deliberations are required to provide solid proof on prognostic criteria. Objectives: The objectives of this study were to determine the changes brought about by SABG in cleft depth and alveolar bone support of teeth in the vicinity of ...

BACKGROUND To assess the success of the uptake of bone graft in cleft alveolus of the cleft lip and palate patients, quantitatively through computed tomography (CT) scan 6 months postoperative. To assess the successful eruption of permanent lateral incisor or canine in the bone grafted area. MATERIALS AND METHODS The children age group of 9-21 years with unilateral cleft lip and palate came t...

Alveolar bone grafting is a standard method for treating alveolar cleft. To ensure the best outcome, improving the arch form as well as soft tissue quality in the area around the cleft is recommended. In this study, 11 patients who presented with alveolar cleft and collapsed maxillary arch were treated in the following sequence: transpalatal distraction osteogenesis followed by soft tissue surg...

Results of reconstruction of residual alveolar bone defects in 52 patients operated between 1990-1998 were evaluated clinically and radiographically in a retrospective study. Ages ranged between 9-37; 30 were males. The donor site of bone grafts in all was particulate cancellous marrow from the anterior iliac crest. 32 had unilateral clefts and 20 bilateral.
